were is the downside to this laptop?
on walmarts website there is a laptop MSI Wind U100-279US 10.1" Netbook Intel Atom Processor, 6 Cell battery 160GB Hard Drive, Bluetooth 2.0 EDR, 1.3 MP Camera, White and it is priced for 298$ and im thinking about buying it and i want to know why it would be so cheap and have a decent hard drive?
i have a desktop i was just looking for something to surf wirelessly if i have a good connectiong would it be good for casual internet use?
also how would it compair with this also on the website HP 8.9'' Mini 1110NR Laptop PC w/ Intel Atom Processor N270
This is not a laptop, it's a NETBOOK.
It has a slow CPU, a weak video card and no optical drive like CD/DVD.
It is meant for internet surfing and to be portable, in my opinion this is a toy.

If you are only looking for something to surf on the net wireless, sitting on a sofa, then you should get a netbook, but don't expect too much.

All netbooks have the same thing in common, no optical drive and weak power, so not much to compare. Most ppl go by design, but i would go with a 10" at least. You will get bad eyes with 8.9" reading the the tiny text on the net:)
