Why am I getting errors when I upgraded my Dell Vostro 1500 from Windows XP to Vista?

When I upgraded my Dell Vostro 1500 to Windows Vista Ultimate from Windows XP all of my network drivers stopped working. I can't use my wireless or ethernet connections. The drivers are there but they aren't working. Can I download other drivers? If so, what are they and where can I find them? Thanks!!!!

This is a problem in going from XP to Vista. You need to reinstall
drivers that are compatible with Vista, you can get them from
Microsoft.com. I've been having problems with Vista and IE8, and
I'm ready to go back to XP and IE7. Good Luck.

How do I fix the sound on my IBM thinkpad (R51)?!?

I have a second-hand IBM thinkpad (R51) and everything is working great but the sound. I do NOT know much about re-programming computers or anything and have only found confusing answers online. Can anyone give me a simple way to get my sound back (I do know that it did work at one point)? Please and thanks.

also try the sound buttons on the laptop keyboard, it may have been muted there and wont play even if you go to the sound control and turn it all the way up

Possible to tap into cellphone signal from poor laptop wifi to INCREASE signal on laptop?

I mean, it makes sense.. cell phone has full signal...My laptop is getting wifi signal from across the street but its shitty. Is it possible to tap into cell signal through laptop to feed of the cell signal?

No, unfortunately your cell phone doesn't operate on WIFI signal. It's service, that is, the number of bars it has, is relevant to how quickly it can transmit a call or text message. If your phone has internet access it runs on EDGE which I don't believe you can use with a computer.

How can I connect my PC to the newest Apple Airport Extreme Base Station?

My Mac has no problem accessing the internet and printing wirelessly using the newest Airport Extreme. However, my PC (Micron TransPort T1000) recognizes our Airport but when I click connect to "Our Wireless Network," it responds, "Windows is unable to connect to the selected network. The network may no longer be in range. Please refresh the list of available networks, and try again." The Airport is on, glowing the green light, is 2 feet away, and the PC has all virus and firewalls off. Why can I not connect?
