While he is on the internet trying to work web sites will pop up and take the whole screen so you have to close it each time it happens. Ane it happens often what can we do to stop this? Can some one help us out please?

Toshiba laptop using Intel 965 video chip does not go full screen?

I have a problem with the laptop's video chip.
When I am in game mode, the full screen does not really go full screen. It stays at high res with a black background, it does not stretch the game window to the edge of the screen. Virtually it is a window mode.

Chances are your games dont have the resolution that your toshiba supports. You can try increasing the resolution inside the games, to see if that will fill the empty space, but if that doesn't work, than the games are not made to run with the 965 chipset. Also, if you're running Vista, that will make your games small. Chances are your games are rated for XP and not Vista, so there will be some small technical problems.
Trust me, I use Vista... I own like 30 fairly new computer games.
I have no games on my computer right now...
Because they dont work right...

Is there a mini laptop maybe 11.6" in screen or higher that is $350.00 or under that was a very good laptop for you that you would recommend to anyone?

most of what I know about a mini LTop is that they are great for the email and messenger stuff .. you must realize that the mini LT has no DVD or CD drive and all stuff has to loaded by net or zip stick ..... Great things can come in small packages. For example, you can get a great car in a small package, which is both fast and good on gas.
