My dog just ate a half a bag of chocholate covered raisons!is he goign to be ok?is there a chance he'll die?

hes medium sized, and is a bichon frise. im scared he might die. i dotn want to go to the vet because that costs..alot. so just in case nothing is wrong i dont think i should go with him yet. his breath smells soo chocholaly. any help is greatly immensally appreciated! thank you. the chocholate covered raisons are milk. and its price chopper brand( just in case )

Why do we all love the science fair food projects so much? I think it is because they are so spectacular and we can see the results very clearly. What I think is important, is looking at it another way. The one about the bread mold can be looked at from two sides. One way of looking at it is the growth of the mold itself, meaning growth. The other side is looking at it from the decay side, mold as part of decay.

I think the bread mold one as the mold growing is the most well known one, but now I want to look at it from the decay side and see mold as part of the decay process. What is the role of mold in the process of decay and how can decay be stopped or slowed down.

So, first what is decay? What is the role of decay in nature? What are the conditions necessary for decay? How can decay be slowed down?

For good science fair food projects we always have to start with a hypothesis, which is saying what we want to prove and what we think the outcome will be. It is not important if your hypothesis is proven right or wrong, as long as you follow the proper scientific method and keep record of everything you do. This is the reason why you have to make meticulous notes of all your steps and preferably also take photos of every step as well as the end result.

The laptop will use laptop ram as a hub for information to and from the CPU and also as a way to help speed up the accessing of information from the hard drive since the hard drive is significantly slower than the laptop ram. The laptop ram will hold very basic but oft repeated functions in it so that the laptop doesn't need to keep going back to the CPU to get instructions and it can run from the laptop ram itself.

With that in mind it then makes sense that if you have more laptop ram then you have a faster laptop computer and expanding the laptop ram is probably the one thing you can do that will have an immediate impact on the speed of your laptop.

Your laptop user's manual is critical in this entire process so before you do anything with the laptop ram you need to go get your user's manual for your laptop. Once you have that the very first thing you need to do is read in the manual on how to access the expansion slots for the laptop ram. The expansion slots are where the ram is installed and they are easy to find and look at.

The user's manual will tell you exactly where the expansion slots are and how to get to them. You may have to open your laptop to do this and if you do, and your laptop is still under warranty, then you may want to stop right here. Opening your laptop while it is still under warranty will void the warranty so if you are still under warranty then contact the service provider closest to you for memory upgrading options.

The Room And The Right Stuff

If you are able to get in to your laptop then get in to it and see what the expansion slots look like. If you follow the instructions in your manual you will not hurt the laptop. Do not touch anything and always make sure you keep metal away from the inside of a laptop and always ground yourself by touching metal before you open your laptop. Static electricity will burn out the insides of your laptop. Once you have identified the expansion slots take a look to see if any are empty. If you have empty slots then you can upgrade, if you have no empty slots then you may not be able to upgrade.

Check your manual to see what the maximum memory capacity is for your laptop. It could be that the memory that is in there now is not the maximum amount and you can replace that memory with higher capacity memory. Always make sure you get only memory that is compatible with your laptop and, once again, you can find all of that information in your user's manual.

How much should i sell my laptop for?

It is a Sony Vaio PCG-K13. it has a 2.8ghz processor, wifi,dvd,cd-r, 512 ram, 40gig hdd. It still runs fast and its pretty much in new condition except a small scratch on the outer shell. Im in no rush i just want another one that i seen.

1. What is MP4 video?

Where can I find harddrives for Apple Macbook?

I have an old white Apple MacBook. I have just recently been experience problems like 'your startup disk is full' and I want to add memory. However, there are alot of different harddrives on the Apple site. Can anyone give me the link to one I would need?

Are you considering an external drive? Most of those are Mac compatible, and you just hook up via USB. The Western Digital ones are great.

Keep in mind that if you have Mac OSX Leopard, you have a program called "Time Machine" which does an awesome job of backing up your files regularly. Unfortunately, if you decide to use your external hard drive for this purpose, it can ONLY work for Time Machine. You can't do partitions or anything like that. So if you want to use Time Machine *and* have extra storage, you'll need two external hard drives.

Of course, another option is to try to delete unnecessary files from your Mac. Are you aware of what's on there, and what's taking up so much space?

If you are and iPhone aficionado, you absolutely want your iPhone to work on your ShoreTel IPBX! I recently downloaded VeNetCorps SipPhone from the iPhone App store! There are several SIP phone apps at the store, but most have a pre-programmed domain name for the sip registration proxy server. If you want to use your own SIP proxy there was no easy way to change the IP address so you had to hack your DNS to get it to point to the ShoreTel SIP proxy. Also you need at least iPhone firmware 2.2 as previous versions had WiFi connectivity challenges that negatively impacted the potential for using a SIP soft phone. After the iPhone WiFi acquired an IP address, if you attempted to ping the address you would see latency in excess of 300ms. With version 2.2 this issue has all but become unnoticeable. As with any SIP extension setup on ShoreTel, you need to assign sip extension proxy resources on a ShoreGear switch. In the sites section of the ShoreWare Director, make sure you assign a virtual IP address. This is the address you will use for your "domain' when you setup the IPhone SipPhone. Clearly you will need a User setup with a SIP phone password defined in the individual user section of the ShoreWare Director.

Clearly the assumption here is that you have a WAP that your iPhone can connect to. Also that that wireless connection can route to your ShoreTel network! Once the ShoreTel SIP user, virtual IP address and proxy resources are configured it is time to configure your iPhone SipPhone! After you down load the application and tap to activate the application you will get a screen that lists the options: Dialer, Recent, Contacts, Accounts and Settings. Hit the Accounts tab and you will then EDIT a new SIP account. To get this app to work on ShoreTel you need to enter only three values. First you need to enter the domain name, we have previously defined in the ShoreTel Director as the Virtual IP address. The Username and password are also as specified in the individual user setup in ShoreTel. Hit the DONE tab, and the phone should register and you can make and receive calls from your ShoreTel. I put together a video clip that covers this so you can see that it acutely works! The video suggests that you enter the user name, but if you want to call the iPhone from a ShoreTel extension, enter the user's extension number instead. This was just a fun project and latency on the iPhone WiFi is still a challenge for SIP phone usage. I suspect that Version 3.0 of the iPhone will fix this small issue, but it was a blast trying it out! Enjoy!

Recently, I have encountered hard drive failure and need to replace my hard drive, although I am not sure how to find a hard drive compatible with my DV6000.

Take it out of your laptop and check the connections, either its IDE (old type) or SATA which is the new type.
Laptop hard drives are 2.5", whereas desktop computer drives are 3.5".
For a laptop then 5400rpm is a good choice instead of 7200rpm.
You don't say what size your current hard drive is but if your going to buy one with more GB then make sure you get one that suits your needs as the drives with a very big capacity are a little bit thicker (due to the extra platters) and might not fit into your computer.
The best hard drive manufacturer is Western Digital (sometimes known as WD). They are reasonably priced and very reliable.
Amazon, Misco or Play.com are good places to buy them.

Toshiba laptop using Intel 965 video chip does not go full screen?

I have a problem with the laptop's video chip.
When I am in game mode, the full screen does not really go full screen. It stays at high res with a black background, it does not stretch the game window to the edge of the screen. Virtually it is a window mode.

Chances are your games dont have the resolution that your toshiba supports. You can try increasing the resolution inside the games, to see if that will fill the empty space, but if that doesn't work, than the games are not made to run with the 965 chipset. Also, if you're running Vista, that will make your games small. Chances are your games are rated for XP and not Vista, so there will be some small technical problems.
Trust me, I use Vista... I own like 30 fairly new computer games.
I have no games on my computer right now...
Because they dont work right...

I currently have a Pentium III 800 MHz processor with a FBS of 133 MHz (Socket 370). What are my options for upgrading it without having to replace the motherboard?

There's 2 types of Socket 370 boards.

FCPGA and FCPGA-2

Yours is FCPGA

You cant expect much gain from trying to overclock 'em.

The Next generation was Tualatin Core processors.

They were Socket 370's,,,but a Modified Version>>FCPGA-2

They will NOT directly work in older FCPGA boards.

But,,there is an Adaptor /Convertor available for about $15 that allows Tualatins to run on "old" FCPGA socket 370's.

There's also a physical MOD that can be done,,,to let them work Directly.
It's TRICKY,TEDIOUS,RISKY.
Well within the ability of Lots of people,,
But I dont reccomend it.
Adapators are too cheap to risk a chip,,ya know?

The Only reason I mention the MODIFICATION,,,is to point out that

And Both are actually Pentiums?
But the FSB Speeds are Different? 1 is fast,,1 is Slow??

Ok,,CPU Speed is determined by a simple "formula":
CPU has a "Clock Multiplier" internally.
Formula is:
Multiplier X FSB= CPU Speed

The Pentium is a 10.5X Multi-
10.5 x 133fsb= 1400Mhz CPU (1396.5mhz,,exactly)

The Celeron is 14X Multiplier
14 x 10= 1400Mhz CPU

All those CPU's are Hard-Locked Multiplier----
"Overclocking" includes Raising the Multiplier,,if possible,,,to speed-up the CPU.

Multi- CANNOT be Raised,,Intel Locks them solid.

But,,,if the CPU's are actually the SAME,,,just fiddled with by Intel when Mfgr'd.....
One is set to Run at 100FSB,,
Other is set to run at 133FSB.....

Did INTEL THEMSELVES raise that Multiplier from 10.5 to 14,,,and THEN Hard Lock it?
Yes,,thats exactly what they did.

So,,since they are SAME CHIP,,,but by some quirk one has a Higher Multiplier,,,
What Happens when 100FSB 14X Multi- CPU is plugged into a 133FSB?

Use same Formula,,Mutliplier x FSB
Celeron "Semi-Pentium" 14X x 133fsb== 1862Mhz CPU

Sounds Unreal ,,huh?
It's Not.

Worst Case,,,You'd have to set it at Default 100FSB and run 1400Mhz ,,and still a much more advanced CPU than a coppermine.
That's the WORST.
If your board has ANY fsb adjustments,,,you could go UP from 100fsb/1400mhz CPU.
Each 10mhz FSB =140 CPU Mhz

Your Board,Your RAM,the Tualatin Celeron all can handle 133mhz,,,,so if ADJUSTMENT is available,,,then it IS overclockable.

Important to note,,It's a 100fsb CPU--
so to Run at 1,000 it Must have a 10X Multiplier,right?

Multipliers are Hard Locked on all these chips.
Cannot be increased.

To get to 1500Mhz with a 10X Multiplier,,,
means the FSB had to be 150Mhz
10X 150=1500

Which is exactly how these guys OC'd the 1000 to 1500Mhz..
they cranked up FSB to 150mhz.

That's BEYOND the standard 133FSB of the Tualatin Chip.
Which supports the Idea that a 1400 Celeron will run at 133 FSB.
Make Sense??

X-Bit is a Reputable source----realize they used Premium Parts to get it to run at 150 FSB.

But the GREATER Point is,,,a "100Mhz Celeron is actually a 133fsb Pentium 3"

It Should plug into to any 133fsb and run fine,,even though the Celeron is only 100Mhz "officially"

Their 1st additional 33mhz "overclock" Above the Cel's 100FSB was a Freebie,,a Gimme,,,,--a Natural capability of the Tualatin Core.

The Only amount they Actually "Overclocked" to reach 150FSB,,,
was the 17Mhz above 133Mhz.

If ya Gotta install the T-Celeron at 100fsb,,,,
every 10mhz on the FSB = 140 CPU Mhz(on the Celeron 1400).
Because the chip has that "huge" 14X multiplier.
And it IS actually a "133mhz Chip"..Unofficially.

At 100fsb= 1400 CPU
at 110fsb= 1540 CPU
at 120fsb= 1680 CPU
at 130fsb= 1820 cpu
etc,etc,etc

Whether or not you CAN OC from the 100mhz Board/Bios Settings,,,who knows?
(If you find that you CAN OC your rig,,,,spend $10~15 for a Good,Big Fan & Heatsink for the CPU IMMEDIATELY!)

But that particular CPU will NOT be the Limiting factor.

In Your situation,,,You would not be trying to OC the thing in the purest/performance sense.

But more like trying to get it UP from 100fsb,,,and more towards it's design capability of 133fsb
More like "Set-Up" than actually "OverClock"

Even if it's only stable a FEW Mhz over 100fsb,,,thats a good gain in CPU speed.
No Gaurantees it will,,,but Only the T-Celerons give you any Chance of going beyond 100fsb.

It PROBABLY will run fine at 133fsb

Used to work pretty good.
It Just MIGHT work.....but by today's standards it's 'obsolete".

Bottom line,,you can go 1,000mhz~1100mhz with old FCPGA for about $20.
Thats a decent boost for the money,,,but really not much in an overall sense

For $40~50,
you can use the adapter,,,and go at least 1400Mhz,,,and thats also a more advanced/higher perf CPU.
And Probably be able to "overclock" the Tualatin-Celeron a good bit,,,and it IS actually sorta a "semi-pentium".

going from 800 to 1400 would be a worthwile boost.

Thats a Big Jump in power compared to what it is now.
And it's about the Limit of your PC.

You MIGHT be able to add a better Vid Card---depending on what ya HAVE and what ya can find Cheap.
Or Max Out RAM size,,,,if ya can find some Cheap.
And that MIGHT hold you a while.

Beyond $50~75 MAX worth of Upgrades starts getting into "NOT WORTH IT" territory

If ya HAD a $100 to spend,,,,You'd come out WAY ahead to do a more Major Upgrade to a "less old" motherboard/cpu.

Because More Advanced stuff will have fallen in price enough to where You could probably get a Board/CPU/Fan/Ram,, 2Ghz or better for $100 or Less.

Right now,,,ya Cant really take a very large leap ahead for less than a $100......mostly cuz You'd have to buy New RAM.

And there's not many setups that will beat
what you can still get outa your P-3 for $50 or less.

A FEW $$$ spent can give you a good boost in speed,,,and last you Long enough to get your money's worth.

But dont spend too much,,,cuz it just kinda falls off a cliff in terms of Value.
And you're better off saving the extra $$ to evenetually spend on a whole better setup.

if you have a 15" or lower sreen size it may not be a good idea to increase resolution but if you really want to right click on desktop >properties >settings then you will be able to change it there

I sit down and look at my notebook. Then, I put myself into the 'zone'. That's how I start to write web copy that sells. Whether you agree with me or not, your web copy will determine whether your product's going to sell online or not. Simple reason.

In an offline sales pitch or presentation, you get to interact with your prospect. You get to touch him. He gets to see you personally. But not online. No, no, no. It all depends on the words on your site. See how powerful words are? I'm not saying I'm a guru at web copy.

There are many other copywriters who are far better than me. Many. But I've written my own web copy and it's selling. And at the same time, I've been hired to write for others. Keep on reading on how I write killer web copy and you can pick up any of the tips.

The first part to write a copy, you MUST be in the 'zone'. What the heck is the 'zone'? The 'zone' is like... the mood. You see, writing a great copy is like an artist painting a beautiful picture. When you are in the 'zone', your hand can't stop typing and your mind keeps on coming up with amazing ideas to write.

Like, I'm in the 'zone' when I write this article. How to be in the 'zone'? I'm not sure how you can achieve that, but for me, I put in a lot of passion to write a killer copy and I look into the future to see how this copy will sell like crazy. That's how I get into the 'zone'. Once you are in the zone, keep on writing. Don't stop.

Even though, you know you are writing wrong grammar or putting in weird ideas. Just keep on writing. Then, after it's finished, read it all over again. This time, you'll pick up the mistakes and you'll add in more ideas. Continue doing this until you are satisfied with your work.

Finally, edit your work. When you start your copy, your headline is one of the most important parts of the copy. Some copy writers write tons of headlines before they start. For me, I'll write about 5 headlines and read it over several times. Then, I'll pick the best and fine tune it at least 5-10 times before I decide to use it.

One more part of writing copy; don't feel bad 'borrowing' some ideas from successful copy you've seen. Get a swipe file of the best copy you can find. And the last thing you need to keep in mind when writing a killer copy is this: "What's the end result the reader will get if they buy from you?" Your copy MUST sell hope and benefits to the reader if you want them to buy anything after reading your copy.

Should i get the macbook or the macbook air?

if you see someone with a laptop, would you think WOW if they had the macbook or macbook air. What one do you think is better? Why?

No....why would I care what laptop you had? If your buying a laptop just to use as a status symbol that's pretty pathetic. In my mind that's a common reason why people buy a Macbook, just because they can say they have one.

Macbook Air is really not practical, it lacks an optical drive, and lacks enough peripheral ports.

Why cant I get a dell inspiron mini 9 in red?

in google images there are many pictures of these laptops in red, so why cant i find anywhere to get one from?
