Battery Fits Toshiba

Is there any way i could make my xbox origional fully fuctional on my old laptop?

I have the old xbox that i wanted to try to make it work on my laptop.
Is there any way i could convert the xbox by making it use the battery of the old laptop(toshiba) and use its screen to display the xbox graphics?
Is there any way to use the cd drive or change the drives out and maybe make the entire xbox fit inside of the laptop by stripping out all of the other unneeded components or would i just mess everything up?

umm you would have to use a laptop hard drive and the xbox's disk drive, i don't know if you can hook a laptop battery up for the power

but just so you know they do sell screens to fit on top of xbox's and the fold down just like a laptop

Specifications: The affordability and portability of netbooks have in recent years made them very popular in the laptop world. Despite that they are far from being perfect machines. Although I am a big fan of netbooks (I can't imagine a world without netbooks), I occasionally wished that they had better screens and a more comfortable keyboard. My prayers were answered in the form of the ASUS Eee 1201N-PU17 12.1-inch netbook. This model has the specs of a typical netbook (250GB hard drive, 2GB of DDR2 RAM and an Intel Atom N330 1.6Ghz dual core processor). The difference is, it comes with a HD wide-screen and a full-sized keyboard! It also runs on the Windows 7 Home Premium OS.

Design: The incorporation of a larger keyboard and screen means that this model is also a little larger than the average netbook. Nevertheless, the dimensions and the weight of the ASUS Eee 1201N-PU17 remain very close to that of a netbook. This model weighs in at just 3.22 pounds and measures at about 11.5 x 8.1 x 1.2 inches in dimensions. It would still easily fit into a large bag of backpack. They keyboard consist of 'chicklet' keys and the overall design resembles the seashell design of the iconic Asus 1005HA netbook.

Features & Performance: Thanks to its size, the ASUS Eee 1201N-PU17 is a little more powerful than the average netbook. Its RAM can be upgraded to a maximum of 8GB for a whopping multitasking performance. The 12.1-inch HD screen (1366 x 768) is just wonderfully refreshing. Netbook fans would definitely appreciate the larger screen and the comfortable keyboard. The only feature that has been compromised would be the battery life. The battery of this model can last up to 5 hours, which is still pretty good by any laptop standards. Despite all the extra features thrown in, the ASUS Eee 1201N-PU17 is still priced like a netbook. It is currently selling for just around $482 per unit!

i need a car power adapter for my dell latitude d600 laptop cheap and not off of ebay

What you're looking for is called an INVERTER and plugs into your cigarette lighter. I know bec I bought a highly rated one, XANTREX INVERTER 400 PLUS according to Amazon Customer Ratings that we use it on long road trips out of town in our TOYOTA SIENNA XLE MINIVAN where my son will have his SONY PSP plugged into it (ours has 2 outlets) playing video games like MADDEN 2008 and our daughter will be watching DVD movies as the 2nd plug will have a SONY PORTABLE DVD <= Don't ask me why my wife bought it for Christmas bec we also carry 2 new DELL Notebook PCs along, both which have CD-RW/DVD R/RW.

Dells extensive desktop family now includes the new Inspiron 518. Backed by the Dell name, quality, and power, this mini tower desktop provides high performance for any type of user. With a shiny black casing and beautiful chrome accents, this desktop can make any office or room look a bit more exotic. The Inspirons budget, along with functionality, is geared a bit more towards families and students than those techy individuals out there.

The bare-bone system starts are $329. (Bare-bone, in this sense, means the minimal technical specifications discussed in a bit.) Additional features can be added through Dells interactive build process. The Inspiron 518 may not be the cheapest desktop on the market, but is decently priced when you consider the performance and functionality that it offers.

Under the hood you will find a 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, 2GB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM, 256 ATI Radeon HD 3450, and a 320GB 5,400rpm hard drive. The Inspiron 518 also has gigabit Ethernet for fast connection speeds, dual-layer DVD burner, and operates on Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 (32-bit).

Notice that there is no option for the installation of the 64-bit version of Windows Vista. Unfortunately, the Inspiron 518 is not flexible in this sense, as it only supports a 32-bit operating system. 64-bit operating systems require more memory, which this system does not have. If you are planning to upgrade to Windows 7, you will first have to upgrade the memory, and any other necessary hardware, to get the desktop up to speed to handle a 64-bit OS.

The overall design, of the Insprion 518, is quite sleek and easy on the eyes. Dell did not stop with the overall appearance; they actually added a tray, to the top of the mini tower, for easy storage of small plug-n-play devices. Additionally, there were two USB 2.0 ports added, near the tray, to allow users to conveniently charge and connect with these devices.

Dell provides consumers with friendly interfaces and easy navigation. To increase the user experience, they have now added what is called the Dell Dock. Similar to Vistas sidebar, you can customize this dock to hold icons for your favorite applications and files. This gives you easy one-click access to those things you use most. You can customize where the dock appears, on your desktop, along with the option to completely shut it off.

The Dell Inspiron 518 does not offer consumers the option to add a Blu-ray optical drive. Depending what you had in mind for the desktop, this may not be a hindrance at all. The graphics card, which comes with the system, is a bit on the low end as well. Unlike other Dell machines, there is no option to upgrade this feature upon customizing your build. The graphics card that comes with the Inspiron 518 is decent, but is not a high-end card for gaming.

The Inspiron 518 is a budget friendly computer. Combine this with its high performance and the number of features it offers, and you've got yourself an amazing everyday computer. Whether you are looking for a computer for a student or an entire family, the Inspiron 518 is a good fit.

Screen Glossy Laptop

Are glossy laptop screens impossible to use outdoors because of reflections?

Glossy seems to be more fashionable but I'm thinking matt might be better. Not many matt screens available tho.

I have one that is glossy. Attractive but lots of glare and reflections.

The HP ProBook 4510s is a laptop meant for those owning small businesses. As part of the ProBook series, the HP ProBook 4510s is targeting low-end buyers and to do that, it makes an attempt to combine the characteristics of consumer and business laptops. HP markets it as an affordable set of business notebooks, bearing the functionality every professional requires and giving it a look that makes it stand out from its rivals. The keyboard design is distinctive and buyers can choose between glossy and merlot finishes.

The HP ProBook 4510s is capable of replacing the business user's desktop at a price that works well within a limited budget. Battery life is great and the laptop has pre-installed security software, which is effective in protecting your data.

The HP ProBook 4510s is simple yet it exudes a corporate aura. The plastic surface of the chassis is enticing to look at but it has a tendency to get plenty of smudges and fingerprints. Once you open the laptop, you'll appreciate its subtle color combo of satin and glossy finish.

Did we mention that it was spill-resistant? Another good aspect of the keyboard is the presence of gaps, allowing ease in typing. A numeric pad does wonders to how a business user does computing tasks. Most of its rivals didn't opt for a numeric pad and that's too bad for them. It's a major gripe among typical business users. The touchpad's position towards the left side is also a plus.

The matte finish is a good feature to have when you're in a group and you're showing your screen to viewers who see it from various angles. The laptop has several business software such as the HP ProtectTools security extras and for hard drive protection, we have the HP 3D Drive Guard system.

For processing, the Intel Core 2 Duo CPU is standard while the Intel Celeron Dual-Core is an option. With regards to graphics power, the buyer can choose between a Mobile Intel GMA 4500MHD or an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330.

Battery life is recorded to be more than 6 hours - impressive but we got a bit worried by the heat.

We admire the wide and clear screen as well as the comfort we felt while using the keyboard. The security features bring great value to any entrepreneur and since battery life is lengthy, it allows for less anxiety when he or she is out and about.

Cons

Fingerprints and smudges are left on the surface and on the lid frequently. A fingerprint reader would have been a great addition to enhancing security. Upgrading the base unit is difficult.

Can you upgrade a laptops graphics card? My laptop is brand new. A packard bell EasyNote TJ64?

Been having some issues with slow gta 4 like most people but would like to solve by getting a wicked graphics card.

i currently have: ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics
approx memmory 1916 mb

processor: AMD Athlon(tm) x2 dual-core QL -65 (2 cpus) 2.1ghz
4gb ram

to elaborate on spartacus' answer, you cannot upgrade the gpu or cpu on 99% of laptops. It is just impossible by design let alone compatibility.
