My macbook case is cracked near the touch pad, will they repair outside of warranty?
Ive seen a lot of people with the same problem, i called apple and they said to take it to the store which i will today, but will they charge me as its out of warranty? Ive heard alot of people have got it fixed for free. Anything i should tell them if they try and charge me?
As long as it is a known flaw in their manufacturing, they should have no problem fixing it for free.
They may try to charge you for it at first, but if you point out that you know it is an issue they will drop the charge.

Windows 7 has arrived. For most PC owners this is a watershed moment after all the frustrations of Microsoft Vista and the burning questions being asked by everybody are, "Is it any good?" I can definitely answer "Yes"
Is it worth upgrading from Vista, even at this early stage?". Answer "Yes, it is"
So why then would you swap your PC for an Apple Mac Computer and is the Snow Leopard Operating System better than Windows 7?
When considering this response the overall question you must ask yourself "What am I going to be using this computer for?'
If it's a gaming computer you're looking for then Window 7 is for you. There are literally thousands of games available, Windows 7 has little to no compatibility issues compared to Vista and drivers for graphics cards, soundcards and extra beefy processors are very easy to upgrade and run beautifully.
Maybe you're looking at Word processing, productivity and accounting. In this case both systems are great with Windows 7 greatly improved. Apple Macs have the Office version available so again or a personal preference.
Multimedia applications still overall goes to the Apple Snow Leopard Operating system though. Again after getting used to the different styling the Apple systems just seems to be better and are great for the new user with little to no PC experience or the grey haired brigade pioneering their way into the modern technological age.
I really do love the New Windows 7 Operating System. It's clean fresh and really does work well. I have found it very user friendly, my computer definitely runs more smoothly and faster and there have been none of the compatibility issues I had with Vista. Well Done Microsoft! Shame it has taken two years longer then it should have. Because of this I have investigated changing to the Apple Mac Range and the Snow Leopard Operating System. This is one hell of a system also and I can see why so many people use the Macs.
So what did I do! Well I have the best of both worlds. I have an Acer Predator gaming desktop computer running Windows 7 using it both for work and play and I love it. Yeah Yeah, I know it's like using a nuclear power plant to boil an egg but hey I was able to get it for a good price on the Webnet. I also have an Apple Macbook Pro and just love it for everything else I want to do with portability in mind. I use it as a music centre, Portable DVD Player, Internet access and my wifes brag book with every photo of the kids ever. Again all these features are available on any Windows based PC but I have found for the multimedia on the Apple has more options for viewing and overall simpler to use. Personal preference is a hell of a thing.
So what and I saying in this article? Basically this You really cant go wrong with either Operating System. However If you have a Windows PC at the moment then it would probably be in your best interests to upgrade to Windows 7. If your looking for a new computer either way, both systems have their Pros and Cons. My advice is, Really know what you want your system for and do what your mind tells you to do not what your heart says and you cant go wrong.
