How do I fix the sound on my IBM thinkpad (R51)?!?
I have a second-hand IBM thinkpad (R51) and everything is working great but the sound. I do NOT know much about re-programming computers or anything and have only found confusing answers online. Can anyone give me a simple way to get my sound back (I do know that it did work at one point)? Please and thanks.

also try the sound buttons on the laptop keyboard, it may have been muted there and wont play even if you go to the sound control and turn it all the way up
