Why is the apple sign on a Macbook or Macbook Pro covered on many TV shows?
I've noticed that on many TV shows when someone is using a Macbook or Macbook Pro, the apple sign on the laptop is covered, usually with a sticker. Is there some sort of copyright against using Macs on TV? Or is there some other reason?
Simply put, if they show the apple logo in their show, it shows favoritism towards that product, and the logo could be protected by copyright laws. Because of this, they cover it, blur it out, or replace it with a different image to keep the computer on the show.
