Drive Hdd Connector
Two SATA HDD, but only one Power connector...?
Okay, so here's my problem:
I recently upgraded my computer, purchasing two new SATA hard drives, and a new power supply. Unfortunately, I didn't read the Pwr. supply's product description close enough, and so found that it had only ONE SATA power connector.
I"m really low on money at the moment, and it's too late to return the power supply, so does anyone know of any way of, say, getting the second drive to draw power from the first or something like that? I really need to get this second drive up and running ASAP.
retail boxed drives generally come with a little 4 pin molex to SATA adapter.
if you got the drives OEM, they would not however. you can buy them at any computer shop for about $5 probably. they look like this:
