Replacement laptop adapter/battery works great, but now the mouse doesn't work?

I have a Dell Inspiron E1505 notebook and I recently purchased a replacement battery/adapter for it through an outside medium (ebay). It is working great (charging and providing a/c power) but when it is hooked up, my mouse won't budge. Any ideas?

Before you begin installation, please ...

- Use caution when handling iPaq and the battery.

- Use common sense care for handling the battery such as not flexing (ie, bending), away from metal, away from extreme heat, etc.

- Make sure that all data in iPaq have been backed up. All data will be lost after installing the new battery.

- Read the whole instruction before your first attempt to replace the battery. This will help you to visualize the process before it has begun.

1. Turn the power off, and also make sure the reset key on the bottom of the unit is turned off to ensure the power is completely off.

2. Take stylus out from iPaq before proceeding.

3. Using Torx T6 screwdriver, get the four screws off from each corner. Make sure not to misplace screws. Split the back cover from the main body using your fingernail or any flat type device such as a Phillips screwdriver. Just make sure that you

don't scratch the surface if using a screwdriver.

4. Once the back cover is split from the main body, open the back cover from the top. Do not pull it out all the way as the battery is attached to the main board via a flexible PCB connector. Note: A, hard reset button slide door and stylus lock are not attached to the body, and therefore, they may be loose as the back cover is pulled off. They are easy to put back but it is wise to take a note of their location and position.

5. As you pull the back cover up gently, you will see a connector between the battery and the main board. Gently remove the connector from the battery. Please note that the battery is glued to the back cover, and can be removed after you

disconnect the battery connector from the main board.

6. Once you have the old battery taken out, align the new battery so that the edge of the battery that is closer to the connector goes to the bottom (ie, the taped side is the top).

7. Firmly press the connector to the battery. Make sure that all corners are inserted firmly.

8. Starting from the bottom, reinsert the backcover. Do not force the cover when closing. This means that the battery is not properly seated onto the back cover. Simply realign the battery so that it is properly seated.

9. Put four screws back, and turn the reset key and the power button on, in that order, to ensure that the unit operates normally.

10. You should fully recharge the battery, and leave it charged for additional 30-60 minutes after a full charge indicator is on. This ensures that the battery is fully charged.

I am often asked how we receive thousands of Japanese maple seeds germinate each year for conventional wisdom says this is considered very difficult.

In this article I'll reveal the little known "Nursery secrets" that we use to ensure rates of close to 100% germination and debunk the myth that ...

Germinating seeds of Japanese maple is difficult to do ...

If you read a text Standard instructions for germinating seeds Japanese Maple and advice that you generally find almost identical.

Conventional Wisdom argues that the successful germination of the Japanese maple is difficult to do something good for the gardener more advanced. Conventional Wisdom also said germination key to success is a combination of soaking seeds in water followed by "layering" * (see below).

Soak the seeds are recommended for nearly all the seeds you buy from traders or unknown sources (like normally found on e-Bay) is dry. The seeds should be dried and then rehydrated laminate * before it has a chance to germinate.

* Stratification is the scientific term used to describe the seed that allows a long period of cold for a minimum of 90-100 days - as if the seeds have been through a course of winter semester after a falling tree.

Even if you've tried soaking and germination dry seeds of Japanese maple, you know that the results are still hit and miss. People will say it is difficult and, indeed, it is difficult to get a decent level of germination of dry seeds.

Yes, frankly it's the most important thing to do. Please do not buy seed dealers or online at eBay sellers who do not care about the success of seed germination. It is almost certain to grow old, the purchase of dry seeds in this way.

After the purchase of tree seeds Japanese Maple myself in the past of great names of seed companies and then could not germinate, I decided there must be a better way.

So here's what you must do to ensure good germination ...

3. Retained for at least 90-100 days in the refrigerator.

5. If (and only if) you see mold growth, and as soon as you see, use a fungicide, in moderation, following the manufacturer's instructions or a weak solution of bleach (1 part bleach to 9 parts water)
6. At the end of the cold storage, the seeds germinate naturally, even in the zipper bag in the refrigerator!
7. Transplanting plants germinating seedlings, planting of emerging radicle in seed compost. We use and recommend the use of coir (coconut)-based medium term.

Also be careful to watch out for late frosts of spring. Your plants can germinate in January - February-March and could face a period of several weeks when the new shoots are at risk of frost damage. Is a .5 difference in voltage output from my laptops charger adapter safe to use?

My laptop charger was frayed and stopped working. It had an 18.5 voltage output. We have 2 others in the house for other laptops, but they have a 19 voltage output. Is it safe to use or should I go out and look for another 18.5?

I don't think the .5 volts difference is going to matter.

However, make sure the polarity is the same on both chargers. There should be a little picture with a line and circle and a + sign and - sign. (Or it may just have a + sign or just a - sign.)

If one charger has - on the outside and + on the inside, the other charger must also have - on the outside and + on the inside.

Why do batteries fail? Can there be such a thing as a bad battery? How do I know if my battery is bad? The most effective means of understanding the status of a battery is to test the battery using a battery analyzer.
