I have to decide in this two. Acer, Fujitsu Acer 5520 is athlok AMD 64 X2 Dual Core TK-57 1.9, 2 GB RAM, 160 GB HD, Nvidia Ge force 7000m. Fujitsu Siemens V 5545 is 2.o GHz Core 2 Duo, 1 GB RAM, 250 GB HD, ATI Radeon. I do some chatting, and the office works in MS Excel, some editing photos and family movies. I need a power cord for a Dell latitude computer. Is there any one in La Paz Bolivia that carries this?

All power cords are the same for any system. The difference is the plug that has 3 pins on a shape of the triangle or they are on a row. Now the tricky part is the power supply. Is that what are you referring to, that is the hardest part to find sine all Latitudes has different power settings. The D600 and 620 does works but D800 are a different bird including the C series.

The power cord that attaches to the power pack, that is generic, you can get one from any electronic store or repair shop that might have power cords laying around.

How Do I Fix Or Tighten My Laptop (Sony Vaio FS990) Power Cord?

I've had a Vaio FS990 (VGNFS990) for about a year and a half. The trouble I'm having is that the AC adaptor is loose where it plugs into the computer. It works fine, but if it gets jostled, it often falls out. When I first got this computer, it plugged in tight and secure. Is there any way I can fix this, or take itsomewhere and have it fixed for a reasonable price?

You can't really tighten it. What has happened is the soldered connection to the board has become loose or broken. To fix it you will have to take the computer apart and either resolder the connection or replace the scoket. Unless you are an experienced in electronics soldering I would leave it up to a professional service. Expect to spend between 100 - 200 dollars to fix it. It may be feesable to just replace it .
